Role-based web portal with load management dashboard, real-time tracking, and enterprise security on Microsoft Azure

Five-role permission system

Each user sees only what they need. The portal supports five distinct roles – Admin, Billing, Sales, Customer, and Supplier – with tailored functionality and data access. Customers see their own orders and documents; sales reps see their accounts; admins see everything.

Load management dashboard

A unified view of all freight orders showing status, customer company name, departure and delivery times, and attached documents. No more calling to ask where a shipment is – the dashboard shows it in real time.

User management for admins

System admins can track user contact information, control access levels, communicate directly with users, and monitor/log platform activity. Complete visibility into who’s doing what, when.

Notifications and alerts

The platform sends notifications to individual users or groups to share critical information – delivery updates, delays, document availability. Proactive communication reduces support calls and builds customer confidence.

Integration with existing logistics systems

The portal exchanges data with Wayne Transports’ existing logistics systems, creating a seamless workflow. No duplicate data entry, no synchronization errors – the portal becomes the single source of truth.

Clear navigation with a standout menu bar that works across screen sizes. From login to logout, users find what they need without training. Pages and components automatically resize for different resolutions.

Logistics data is sensitive – shipment details, customer information, billing records. We implemented comprehensive security controls:
